And the people doing the actual work run on a third clock entirely — adopting faster than any policy can track. I work in the gap between the three, helping universities, executives, and governing bodies build the connective tissue to learn as organisations, not just as individuals within them.

The argument

AI is now plumbing. The question facing every institution isn't whether to allow it — it's whether the organisation can sense what's changing, make sense of it, and act on it before the ground moves again. Most can't. Individuals learn fast; institutions don't. Closing that gap is the work.

The work

The evidence is the room.

The same framework, tested in rooms that don't forgive abstraction — a diplomatic stage, a governing body, seven hundred accountants, senior police commanders from across ASEAN. Each one a different register. The problem underneath is the same.

About

Fifteen years, three continents, one problem.

I'm a Learning Futurist and inaugural Google Higher Education Faculty AI Fellow (EMEA cohort, 2026). I lead learning futures and AI capability strategy at RMIT University Vietnam, where I've built a distributed AI capability community spanning 900+ practitioners across Australia, Vietnam, and Spain.

Fifteen years across Europe, Asia, and Australasia — classroom practitioner, learning technologist, institutional strategist. Senior Fellow of Advance HE. MBA. Recipient of RMIT's highest staff honour. The through-line: organisations everywhere are full of people learning fast inside institutions that don't. My work is making the institution keep up.
